Like Rabbits

Sustain the forest ecosystem by controlling the bottom of the food chain: the rabbits.

How to Play

Move the rabbits each turn and attempt to multiply and sustain the largest population you can. Each turn you will input a direction for ALL male rabbits, and one input direction for ALL female rabbits.
This is a PICO-8 game and the default controls are the arrow keys for directions and the "c" key to confirm.

Score is based on the highest number of living adult rabbits on the board at one time.

Hawks will attempt to swipe rabbits off the board horizontally and snakes will occupy empty burrows to attack adjacent spaces.
