Hahakigami Sweep

Sweep Life's Troubles Away!

As a Hahakigami, a Japanese broom spirit, sweep away the unwanted troubles of your host. To do so, sweep them into matching groups of 3-5 and then sweep them out of the home!

Controls

This is a game on the Pico-8, a fantasy console. It has a "controller" with a dpad, two face buttons (x and o), and a start button. Default keyboard bindings for these controls are the arrow keys for the dpad, c and x keys for the "x" and "o" Pico-8 buttons, and the Enter key for pause.

The in game controls on the Pico-8 controller are:

• Dpad: Move
• X/O: Sweep left and right, start the game
• Start: Open the pause menu, where the left/right sweep can be flipped

Objective

Reach the highest score while avoiding the three failure conditions for as long as possible: running out of time, a group of 6 or more troubles connected, 42 troubles on the board at once.
